Part 141 Training: Flight Instructor Course

At Legends Aviation Academy, we offer two Flight Instructor Courses; The Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Instrument Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/I) Course. The CFI course will prepare you to become a flight instructor and you will be eligible to teach student pilots pursuing their sport, private and commercial certificate. The CFI/I Course will prepare you to teach instrument students pursuing an instrument rating.

Being a Flight Instructor is one of the most rewarding careers in aviation. It is usually one of the first paid flying positions most pilots start in to build experience, however many choose to remain an Instructor for life!
Legends Airways provides Flight Instructor Training either Part-141 or Part-61. Part-141 is best for those who desire a structured syllabus and completed previous training under Part-141. You must already hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating to enroll in either course.

  • Our Instrument Flight Instructor Course prepares Flight Instructors to serve as an instructor for students pursing the Instrument Rating. Our course will challenge you to not only apply the skill you learned during your instrument training (Such as approaches, holds, weather, flight planning, and more), but also teach it to a proficient level.
